8th Ed. 1000pt tournement with restrictions

    Hi,

    In a few months I will be playing at a dutch 1000pt tournement, this time I want to bring my lizardmen army repainted. So this tournement will be the best possibility for a good paintingdeadline.

    But I want to discus the list here, I will be also start a paintblog soon. her is a sneak peak:

    The restrictions for the tournement are:
    - No lords
    - Heroes max 250pt
    - Core minimum of 400pt
    - Special max 500pt
    - Rare max 100pt
    - Max points for a unit is 250pt, and no more than 30models.

    I have 3 lists in mind

    Scar-vet on Cold one, Great weapon, Light armor
    -Dawnstone
    -Dragonhelm

    Skink priest + lvl2

    20 Saurus warriors + full command

    10 Skink Skirmishers + Patrol leader, blowpipes

    10 Skink Skirmishers, javlins and shields

    1 Stegadon + Sharpend horns

    3 Rippers

    5 Rippers

    I agree, B is pretty good. You have a big unit of Rippers that'll chew up most things, plus enough magic that you can burn your power dice pretty easily.

    What lore on the Skink Priest?

    beasts, for the wildform on rippers or saurus, but think I will go for a nicer army list
