After gettting bored of my tyranids i've bought a lizardmen battalion, my friends have been suggesting i get into fantasy and i've allways loved the lizards.
So basicly, these are the first three saurus i've painted and i want to see what people think of them. I think i should probally make it clear that im not trying to achieve display quality, i just want them to look good on the table.

    And the champion by himself

So anyone think these are tabletop quality?

Those models are well done sir, and they definitely fit your criteria of lookin' good a few feet away on a board.

yet another victim to the "blue-power" apartheid ;)

technically well done indeed, maybe a wash wouldnt hurt, but they are very neat. i just die a little inside every time some new player copies the colors on the box. it is a bit boring tbh

Looks good. Easily tabletop quality. Maybe a devlan mud wash to the gold areas would be good. It makes the gold look less flat.

I definitely agree with putting some devlan mud on the gold areas. Maybe some more wash on the rest of the models too. Other than that, they look good! And there is nothing wrong with blue LM. ;) If you want to mix it up a bit, try different shield colours.

I've done the devlen mud wash now and it looks pretty good, i'll get pictures up when im acctually home in daylight hours. I would idealy like to do abit more to them but they are taking wayyy to long as it is and i've got a whole army to do.
You'll probally see my test skinks pop up at some point soon, i'd quite like to start a paint log acctually but they seem to be more for better painters.

Paint logs are for anyone who wants to keep a thread for their own work specifically ;) That was you don't have to go around looking for your own!

Get some pics up of them after their washes! :)

I'm not really sure on basing yet, will probally just be a simple dirt/sand and grass kinda thing.
